Sarajevo: Mini crib for man, designed by man :)

Adnan Kurto, an architect from Sarajevo, his youthful funky interior and furniture designed and made with his own hands. Time and imagination are, I would say, a major factor in such task. Knowing, that this is a very demanding job that requires a lot of patience, I decided to write a few words about this fantastic apartment of only 35m2.

Such handmade masterpieces we usually, have the chance to watch only on popular web sites and admire them, but here’s one that is right there in my Sarajevo neighborhood! I carefully watched every detail of the apartment and I have to admit that this was not an easy task. In fact, Adnan did everything by himself and it took him a whole 7 months. In addition to an excellent disposition and organization of space, furniture recycling is a first-class.

The architect used old tires as tables, euro pallets as a sofa, industrial shelves as wardrobe shelves etc… etc. The old kitchen was restored and made functional. He used in the dining room, I would say, the iconic chairs that have marked the past century. Indeed, highly functional, funky and totally relaxing space for the life of a young and successful architect.
