Italy: Breathtaking design of the Alpine Cabin

Today I have found this magical cabin on ArchDaily and immediately I wished to spend some of winter days in it. The building ensemble is located in a hamlet of Enneberg at a height of 1,200 meters and it refers to the building tradition of the “viles”. The house is completely incorporated into the environment. Ornaments and characteristic features like saddle roof, loggia and wood façade are taken up and realized in a new, pure and independent way. The building is energetically self-sufficient and interior is made of local pine trees.

The best thing about this house is that pure interior lines are completely unexpected after rustic exterior and surrounding.
