We visited Belgrade on the first days of spring, but the weather already was more than perfect for long walks. Immediately upon arrival from Sarajevo we decided to spend some time at the beautiful Kalemegdan. Shortly afterwards we wanted to go to Branko’s Bridge and the famous neighbourhood of Savamala. On the path we took a perfect little garden fascinated us at first glance.

I naravno, uživali smo!

The girls who welcomed us at the entrance were very friendly, and even though  the sky was a bit grey, we decided to sit in the charming garden decorated in a Shabby Chic style! Of course, we enjoyed it a lot!

All the details I saw in the beautiful garden of ‘Jazz Basta’ were selected randomly, without excessive formalities or strict order… and this is what adds the special ingredient to it’s charm!

Naturally, I wanted to see the interior of the Caffe to convince myself that this wonderful story continues! And yes … I was right. Inside a whole scenography in a French style design greeted me – white, romantic details in the most  beautiful surrounding with subdued lighting and quiet sounds of jazz music. Silent atmosphere and a dozen people who enjoyed their afternoon coffee were very inspiring for my new photo-reportage, which I will end with the following quote:

‘Right beside Brankov bridge, in one of the most beautiful parts of the old city, there is a place with a touch of French décor, whose spirit resembles tradition and romance’ – Jazz Bašta.
